The National Airlines Council of Canada (NACC) takes your privacy seriously and is committed to preserving the accuracy, security and confidentiality of your personal information, according to all applicable privacy laws.

Information collected by the National Airlines Council of Canada (NACC)

Generally, the NACC collects and uses Personal Information about our members and service providers in order to serve the needs of the Council membership. Through our website or through other communications, the NACC may collect additional information.

Personal Information: Certain processes available on this website and on the NACC Members-Only Intranet are used to collect personal information. These include “Joining NACC,” “Manage My Information,” “Subscribe to our newsletter,” etc. Any personally identifiable data about customers or website visitors is stored securely and used only for the purpose for which it is provided.

Browsing Information: To help us better design our web site and understand areas of interest, we may collect and store information on how individuals visit the NACC web site. This may include length, date and time of visit, pages viewed, etc. This information does not include Personal Information.

Personal Information collected by the NACC is used for the primary purpose of contacting members via e-mail, telephone, fax, and letter mail. By becoming a member, a board member, committee member, or subcommittee member, or by requesting information, or registering for an event offered by the NACC, you are giving the NACC permission to contact you via the contact information you have provided.

Members may chose not to be contacted by the NACC. Please use your “My Alerts on This Site” to customize emails generated from the Intranet. For other publications or emails, please contact the NACC national office at admin@airlinecouncil.ca or (613) 231-7223.

The NACC does not share or disclose your Personal Information without your express consent, or a permitted or required by law.

Protection of Personal Information

We secure data on our systems with methods that are appropriate to the sensitivity of the information and recommend that all Internet users activate their Internet browser security features using all the latest updates.

Updates or Removal of Information

Members are asked to ensure that their personal information is up-to-date and correct. Please inform us of changes to Personal Information. We will also provide to you the Personal Information we have on file. You may withdraw your consent to the NACC’s collection, use or disclosure of your Personal Information, but this may impact the NACC’s ability to contact or communicate with you and negatively impact our ability to serve you.

If you want to review, verify, correct, or withdraw your Personal Information, please contact our Privacy Officer in writing using the contact information below.

If a member of the Board of Directors, Committee or Subcommittee ceases to be an employee of a member company or announces a change of role that will end his or her association with NACC, then NACC will delete any Personal Information held for that individual.

For your convenience, the NACC may provide links to other web sites maintained by other businesses or organizations. The NACC has no control over these web sites and makes no representation as to the accuracy of the information or any other aspect of the content on any such web sites.
